Ativo IT doesn’t want to be just another one of those Minnesota computer recycling companies that buys used computer equipment to just sell it off to other resellers and be done with it. We like to make the most of used computers by refurbishing and remarketing them on our own by employing redeployment programs that make the equipment usable in other environments. We’ve mastered the art of purchasing directly from end users, refurbishing the equipment, and reselling that refurbished equipment directly to others companies that need it for one reason or another.

How We Make It Work
Our RCRA friendly refurbishing and redeployment program is rather simple, you get to choose how you want your IT assets redeployed or we use our resources for you. We also look at the age, condition, and value of that asset so that, along with your preferences, we can determine the proper retirement options that are available to you. We will offer you a wide array of recycling, refurbishing, and redeployment options. But despite your choice, we make sure hardware redeployment is done in a smart and cost-effective way. It is very important that we are able to redeploy hardware because we want to keep as much of the components working if possible and for as long as possible. Of course, the materials never find their way into landfills when they are in our possession.
